![]() ![]() While I do love and enjoy playing video games that are 100% singleplayer only. In World of Warcraft, besides the what you call fetch 30 Kobold spleens quest, some of the quests and their stories are actually fun to do. ![]() The only other MMO video games that are retaining their stay that I can think of that costs money every month to play is Final Fantasy IX and I think that video game released in 1998, and Final Fantasy XIV which released in 2011 and for now The Elder Scrolls Online, which you purchase once and do not have to pay every month to play released in 2014. Something is wrong with you guys, World of Warcraft is the best MMO video game out there, every new Free to Play (F2P) MMO video game that gets released either gets shut down after like six months or something like that or does not stay popular for long. Every MMO I ever tried, even if it was fun for a short while, I always ended up realising that what I really found enjoyable was the idea of the same game if it was a single player RPG rather than the MMO I was actually playing.Įvery time a new WOW expansion approaches I go through the same stages - thinking it would be fun to play it, remembering how boring MMOs actually are, and finally cursing Blizzard for continuing Warcraft as an MMO instead of RTS. I see no point to playing either with or against some random people, I want real, immersive stories and not grinding and fetching 30 kobold spleens or whatever sprinkled with some flavor text. ![]() I like the idea of this huge, persistant world, but in reality it's just so boring. Breja: I would love to like WoW, but I simply can't. ![]()
